ENTRANCE TO LIVRARIA LELLO

"The Collection" and the new Livraria Lello brand honoured at the Graphis Design Awards 2024

Prémio
The collection of literary classics "The Collection", in its "Pop" reissue, and the new visual identity of Livraria Lello were recognized internationally with Platinum and Gold awards, respectively, at the most recent edition of the Design Awards 2024, organized by Graphis in the United States.

Both projects were designed by Studio Eduardo Aires, and "The Collection" achieved the top honor (Platinum) in the Publishing category of the prestigious international competition. This is the third platinum award in the entire career of the renowned designer from Porto, Eduardo Aires.
In the Branding category, the Gold Graphis Award went to Livraria Lello's identity renewal project, presented to the public in September of 2022.

In the words of Aurora Pedro Pinto, Director of Livraria Lello, "the Livraria Lello brand image is now more modern, more cosmopolitan, more colourful, with a stronger heritage and cultural matrix, but with absolute respect for all the legacy it carries".
Lionesa Business Hub, a brand that, like Livraria Lello, is part of the Lionesa Group, was also awarded with the Silver Graphis Award in the Branding category. The Lionesa Group has seen three of its brands honored at the Design Awards 2024 with Silver, Gold and Platinium awards.

Founded in Switzerland in 1944, Graphis is a world reference organization and publication. Its founders began publishing the iconic yearbooks in the 1950s, which, with the move to New York, have been reformulated and are dedicated to promoting the best in visual communication around the world.
