TE QUIERO ESPAÑA – LIVRARIA LELLO IN MADRID

LIVRARIA LELLO IN MADRID
Livraria Lello travels to Madrid to celebrate the city's Book Fair, demonstrating its love for the country's inhabitants, who visit the Livraria daily.

Since its first edition, in April 1933, on Paseo de Recoletos, the Madrid Book Fair has never stopped growing. The constant increase in participants from booksellers, publishers and distributors forced the fair to look for a new space, which led it to move, in 1967, to Parque de El Retiro.

Currently, this meeting is associated with books, reading and contributing to the enrichment of the cultural mosaic of the city.

In the 82nd edition, between the 9th and 11th of June, Livraria Lello's love campaign will take place with several mupies spread across the city, under the theme “Te quiero España”, where the main protagonists are Luís Vaz de Camões and Miguel Cervantes and invites our neighboring country to visit Porto and the Livraria.

With the support of Turismo de Portugal and the Embassy of Portugal in Madrid, on the 10th of June, the Most Beautiful Bookstore in the World invades the Madrid Book Fair with a demonstration that will be about this mutual love between Portugal and Spain and, mainly, between Livraria Lello and the Spanish public.

Livraria Lello has established commitments with the Community and the World for many years. Number 144, Rua das Carmelitas, in the Historic Center of the city of Porto, in Portugal, receives thousands of visitors curious to know the already almost National Monument.
