Posfácio das Carmelitas welcomes poetry by António Carlos Cortez
Posfácio das Carmelitas - Rentrée resumes its program this Saturday, September 30. The poet, professor, literary critic and essayist António Carlos Cortez is the guest for the third session.
After Norma Pott, Dina Ferreira and Valdemar Cruz, Livraria Lello will host the winner of the 2011 SPA Prize, the 2018 APE/Teixeira de Pascoaes Grand Prize, the 2020 Ruy Belo National Prize and António Gedeão/FENPROF Prize, and the 2022 APE/Maria Amália Vaz de Carvalho Grand Prize.
The author joins Maria Bochicchio for another literary conversation at Passeio das Carmelitas, in front of Livraria Lello, at 17h00. The (in) comon poetry readings will be given by Idalinda Fitas, Jorge Pereira and Manuela Gomes. The musical moments will be performed by Mafalda Lemos, Portuguese guitar, and Carlos Costa, classical guitar.
Since September 9, Saturdays at Rua das Carmelitas have brought together books, authors, and readers, always accompanied by music and readings. The fourth and final session is scheduled for October 7th.
