Reserved for the most special moments of Livraria Lello’s centenary, the Livro d'Ouro contains unique testimonials from some of the most iconic personalities who, from both near and far, came to visit the Prettiest Bookshop in the World.

From 1906 to the present day, the Livro d'Ouro spans 115 years of devotion to books and culture, and reveals a bookstore that was always ahead of its time, aligned with progressive figures and thinkers. Guerra Junqueiro, Abel Botelho, Bento Carqueja or, more recently, Suzy Menkes, Eduardo Lourenço, Harrison Ford and Edgar Morin were just some of the figures who passed through Livraria Lello and left their names in this iconic book.
