June is the month of the city of Porto. On the 24th, we used to go out to celebrate our patron saint, "São João". This year we will not be able to do it as usual and as the date clearly deserves, so Livraria Lello will be offering free entry from May 30th onwards until the end of June so that we can celebrate "São João" all month long!

We will have our booksellers available to receive you, with visits every 45 minutes, for a maximum of 10 people, divided in two groups, to tell you the stories of Livraria Lello and talk to you about books, that item of first necessity. We will also have the "Carmelitas Afterword Initiative" in place, Saturdays, at 5pm, in front of Livraria Lello, with books, stories and Port Wine, bringing the party and the bookshop to the street. We will have the bookshop more beautiful than ever, prepared to receive you in absolute security and exclusivity.

This is truly a unique moment, and our way of honouring the city and the people of Porto, 

saying that we have been here for 114 years and will always be, and together will surpass this exceptional times we are currently living in.
