How to contact Livraria Lello?

What is the schedule of the Bookshop?
Schedule: Every day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

How much is the voucher?
The voucher value, the only one available for online purchase, is € 5 + service charge for each voucher in the total amount of € 0.50 with VAT already included at the legal rate in force.
Where do I go to enter Livraria Lello with the voucher?
Go directly to the Bookshop door and wait for your turn. Once you have purchased the voucher online, you will not need to go through Check In. Simply present the voucher printed on digital (smartphone or tablet).
The value of the voucher is deductible in the acquisition of which products?
The value of each voucher is deductible in the purchase of books. You can only use one voucher per book. It should be noted that only books can be discounted. Merchandising products are not subject to discount of voucher value. Only the value of the voucher can be deducted. Any additional fee (eg online service) will not be discounted.
Is there a service charge for each transaction on the online sale?
On any transaction, there is a service charge for each voucher, in the total amount of 0.50 € with VAT already included, at the legal rate in force. This service fee applies to all purchases made at www.livrarialello.pt.
Can I ask for an invoice?
After you check out (after completing the online purchase) you will receive an email with the documents associated with your purchase (invoice and vouchers). If you are a registered client, you will have access to these documents in your personal area.
How can I pay?
You can make payments using Credit Card or PayPal. The accepted credit cards are Visa and Mastercard.
How fast is the purchase charged to the card?
The charge is automatic.
Is it safe to pay with card?
You can safely do this through our secure server, which encrypts all information sent to you. The secure connection is established between your browser and our server being made based on technology called "secure server software" (SSL). In order to increase the security of the process, you will be asked for a second number, on the back of your card, entitled CVV2.
Can I purchase vouchers today for this exact day?
You can purchase vouchers for the same day, if they are still available, or for a later date. Each voucher will assume the date selected by you to make the visit to the Bookshop.
Can I purchase vouchers for a future date?
You can purchase vouchers for a future date, as long as they are available in the online store.
If I make a purchase on the website how do I receive the vouchers?
The vouchers will be sent by email in pdf and made available in the personal area (in case of registered client). You can print them at home or just present them on your phone / tablet at the Bookshop entrance. Please have the supporting document, either in .pdf or physical support, available at the entrance for a faster process.
Can I receive my tickets by mail?
No. Only by email, in pdf format. To view the e-voucher correctly you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed (you can download it for free).
How do we receive the voucher purchased online?
It will be sent a pdf document to your electronic mail, with the attached ticket. The validation is done by reading the barcode directly at the entrance of the Bookshp, whether in print or digital. To view the e-voucher correctly you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed (you can download it for free).
How do I know the purchase was successful?
After adding the vouchers to your shopping cart, you must complete the purchase process by selecting the payment method. After confirming the purchase, you will receive an email with the same confirmation. If you are a registered customer, you can log in to your personal area and access the document that confirms your purchase. If this information is not available, please contact us at online@livrarialello.pt.

Are there age limits for visits?
No
Are there any discounts for children?
Children up to and including 3 years do not need to purchase a voucher. Their entrance is free provided they are accompanied by an adult. However, if an identification document and proof of the child's age is requested, failure to present it will result in the purchase of a voucher.
I bought a voucher but now I can not go on the date chosen. Can I get my money back?
Sorry! No exchanges and / or returns of vouchers are accepted.
How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
To unsubscribe our newsletter, you can use the link provided in the newsletter and you will no longer subscribe automatically.
Does the voucher have an appointment?
The online voucher has no scheduled time. You should only select the desired date for the visit to Livraria Lello.
What is the expiration date for the voucher?
The voucher is valid until the end of the day for which it is purchased. For instance, a voucher purchased for January 2nd is valid until the bookshop’s closing time on the same day.
Does the online voucher have priority?
The online voucher (€ 5) does not have priority. In the case of the book booking voucher (any of the three books) it gives priority at the entry to the bookshop.
